Connecting Google Calendar & Microsoft Outlook 365

Stylacal integrates with personal and corporate calendar providers via OAuth 2.0 without ever storing your passwords:

1. Navigate to Account > Connected Calendars.
2. Click Connect Google Calendar or Connect Microsoft 365.
3. Select the specific sub-calendars you wish to check for busy conflicts, and select your target write calendar for confirmed Stylacal bookings.

When Isaac is booked in Business A (“Form Studio”), his availability in Business B (“Cole Consulting”) automatically closes for that time slot. However, to staff members in Business B, the booking appears strictly as an opaque, hatched Unavailable block.

Client names, intake answers, service prices, and staff notes from Business A are never leaked to Business B. Concurrency locks inside PostgreSQL prevent double-booking across both businesses even under simultaneous booking requests.

Working Hours, Buffers & Minimum Notice

• Operating Hours: Set custom recurring weekly availability per staff member (e.g. Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Buffer Periods: Define mandatory padding time before and after appointments (e.g. 15 minutes of travel/prep buffer).
• Minimum Notice: Prevent last-minute surprises by requiring clients to book at least 2, 4, or 24 hours in advance.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) & Timezone Architecture

Stylacal stores all timestamps in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) in PostgreSQL. Operating schedules and day boundaries are computed strictly in the business profile’s configured IANA timezone (e.g. America/New_York). During Daylight Saving Time transitions, available slot calculations adjust automatically without slot displacement.
